The City will expect a tenant to enter into a lease agreement and assume responsibility of the land and hangar building. The site should be considered “as-is” and the cost of any approved improvements to facilitate tenant activities will need to be borne by the tenant.
In addition to the lease rate, the successful respondent should also expect that any resulting lease agreement is a net agreement and the lessee can expect to pay additional charges such as building maintenance, utilities, taxes if applicable, insurance charges etc.
All ongoing costs of maintaining the facility will be the responsibility of the lessee for the duration of the term.
Site visits will be by appointment only and request should be made to:
Shawn Boven, Chief Administrative Officer
City of Merritt
