Introduction
The BC General Aviation Association is working with the Sandpiper Gold Course & Rowena’s Inn to bring you this pilot information page. Landing at Rowena’s is a privilege afforded to us by the owners of this golf course. Please make this page part of your pre-flight planning prior to flying to Sandpiper/Rowena’s and abide by the procedures and notices so that we can continue to enjoy the benefit of using this unique airstrip.

Runway Length – 1800′ x 50′ Aprx

Runway Orientation – North / South
Surface – Hard Gravel/Grass
Normal Operation – Landing southbound (Final Approach over Water) and take off northbound based on wind. If landing northbound (final approach over road) be aware of the power lines at the highway.

CAUTION – Check for golfers on runway.

DO NOT– Cross fairways to get to Clubhouse/Restaurant. Use the path at the north end of the runway
Pilots can also phone the pro-shop at 
877-796-1001 Press option #1. They will send the golf cart shuttle to pick you up and bring you to the restaurant.
