Why did you start flying?
Having spent several years hang gliding in the UK and unable to make storing a hang glider in a downtown condo work (there’s just no way it will go in the elevator) I took the plunge on a groupon with King George Airpark to get my ultralight permit last summer and that was it, I was hooked again. Now Im working on my PPL and solo’ed for the first time last week!
What airplane did you learn to fly in?
Spectrum Beaver RX550 Ultralight
What airplane do you fly now?
Cessna 152 (with Pacific Flying Club)
What is your favorite kind of flying or place to fly to?
Right now I’m focused on getting my PPL (loving every minute of it!) and hoping to acquire my first plane next year. Im pretty torn between a Cherokee’esq style low wing or tail dragger with bush tires for some wild camping trips, I’m hoping some more flying will help the decision process 🙂
